ہم ہی نے ترک تعلق میں پہل کی

وہ چاہتا تھا مگر حوصلہ نہ تھا اس کا

ایک تجھ سے تعلق ختم ہونے کے بعد 

میں نے چن چن کے تعلق ختم کیے

ہم بھی کسی کے دل حوالات میں قید تھے کبھی

پھر اس نے غیروں کی ضمانت پہ ہمیں رہا کر دیا

اب کیوں پوچھتی ہو حال میرا

تم نے ہی تو کہا تھا کہ غیر ہوں میں

ہم نے تو اک بے وفا کی خاطر 

دنیا اور آخرت دونوں تباہ کر دیں

سیکھی ہے اس نے محبت مجھ سے

سو جس سے بھی کرے گا بے مثال کرے گا

میرا یار بھی اک پنچھی کی طرح نکلا 

بےبس تھا تو میرا تھا پر نکلے تو اڑ پڑا
